Musketeers in the Making
For four nights only, Alberta Ballet invites families with an appetite for action to enter the world of the Three Musketeers at our exclusive pre-show ‘Musketeers in the Making’ events. Feast on an array of savories while your children acquire the tools with which to join forces with the Three Musketeers at our shield and (foam) sword personalizing stations (with princess hat decorating for the ladies in attendance). Then, watch as they polish their swordsmanship at one of our ‘3 Musketeers 101’ tutorials, led by experienced fencers. The event will conclude with dessert and coffee. Then, it’s off to witness an epic performance the likes of which you’ve never seen!

Set to Tchaikovsky’s treasured score, this spectacular multimillion dollar production delights with glittering sets, lavish costumes, and enchanting dance. Don’t miss the Sugar Plum Parties one hour before every performance featuring Klara's Closet, where boys and girls of all ages can play dressup with costumes from The Nutcracker, arts and crafts stations, where kings and queens are made, and the Storybook Corner, where the whole family can enjoy this timeless original tale.

A fire God, opium dreams, and a crashing temple – Stanton Welch’s La Bayadère is classical ballet with a touch of Bollywood performed by the world-acclaimed Houston Ballet. This lively story features lavish scenery depicting the jungles of India and the famous Shades scene, staged for the entire corps de ballet.
